The Pretty Reckless bring Dear God to Razzmatazz, Barcelona 2026
// Coda · 2 min read
The band’s own biography says Dear God “must be experienced in its entirety”. The tracklist backs that up. It opens with “Life Evermore Pt. 2” and closes with “Life Evermore Pt. 1”. Part 3 sits in the middle, straight after the title track. None of the three runs past 45 seconds.
It is The Pretty Reckless’s fifth studio album, out on Fearless Records since 26 June. Like everything the band has released, it was written by Taylor Momsen and guitarist Ben Phillips. Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums) complete the line-up.
How they got here
The band were supporting Soundgarden in 2017 when Chris Cornell died. A year later they lost Kato Khandwala, their longtime producer, after a motorcycle accident. Death by Rock and Roll, named after a phrase Khandwala often used, came out in February 2021 and took them onto stadium stages with AC/DC. Dear God is the second album since, produced again by Momsen and Phillips with Jonathan Wyman.
The record
Fourteen tracks, just over fifty minutes. The title track is the longest, at a little over six.
“For I Am Death” went to number one on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart last November, the band’s fourth in a row. “When I Wake Up” followed in March, and Momsen described it as “the story of a dream becoming a nightmare”. “About You” is the one Fearless is pushing right now, as a bonus version.
The Barcelona show
Barcelona is the second night of the European leg, the day after La Riviera in Madrid. The run ends in Glasgow on 3 December. The Pretty Reckless play Razzmatazz 1 on Tuesday 10 November 2026. Advance tickets are €42, €50 at the box office. The show is 16+, younger with a parent or guardian. Doors and set times are not listed yet.
