Primavera Sound 2027: Massive Attack get their Thursday back, and day tickets are on sale

Last June, Massive Attack never made it onto the stage at Primavera Sound. Wind and rain pushed their Thursday set back to 00:30, and at 01:00 the festival called off both their show and Bad Gyal’s. Both are on the bill again for the 25th edition. Both play on a Thursday again.

On Monday the festival split its 151 acts into days. Day tickets went on general sale on Wednesday 4 November.

Thursday 3 June

Fontaines D.C., Massive Attack, Turnstile, Robyn and Bad Gyal top the day. Further down: Pavement, Atlas Sound, Kim Petras, underscores and Snow Strippers.

Friday 4 June

Phoebe Bridgers, FKA twigs, The Chemical Brothers and Tinashe. Julien Baker plays the same day, which puts two thirds of boygenius on one bill. ANOHNI does a special set of Lou Reed songs. Weyes Blood, Bleachers and BICEP are on the bill too.

Saturday 5 June

Doechii, Hayley Williams, Lola Young, Adéla and Prospa, with Caroline Polachek and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard further down. Skrillex and Ninajirachi close the night back to back. Skrillex curated a stage here last year, the weekend his album SOMA came out.

Before and after

Wednesday 2 June is the opening day, free as usual, with Underworld, CHVRCHES, Mushka and FADES. On Sunday 6 June, Primavera Bits has Richie Hawtin, Four Tet and Dixon playing eight hours together, the first time the three have shared a set. The Primavera a la Ciutat programme, with concerts in venues around the city, is still to be announced.

Doechii on Saturday. We shot her at Roskilde too, the next day, in the pouring rain. Watch the dancers: her stage choreography has always looked a bit Kendrick, she has named him as one of her major influences. She also just brought back her Swamp Sessions.

Tickets

Day tickets are €135 plus fees, VIP day tickets €195, both on Fever. Revolut customers had a presale on Tuesday with €10 off. The full pass is €350 and includes the opening day and Primavera Bits. Two day tickets come in under that; three cost €55 more. Set times are not out yet.
