Jeffrey Goldford spent a decade in corporate work before a bereavement changed his mind about what he was actually afraid of. He left, and has been putting out music as GoldFord since his 2013 debut album Shed a Little Light. He grew up in St. Louis and lives in Los Angeles.

The breakthrough took another eleven years. 'Orange Blossoms', the title track of the EP he released in October 2024, is the funk-leaning soul song that did what none of the earlier records managed. The tour's own figures put that song past 86 million Spotify plays, GoldFord at more than four million monthly listeners, and the Orange Blossoms and Space of the Heart EPs at more than 200 million streams between them. Those are the promoter's numbers, current as of September 2026.

He is on the road with Space of the Heart, released in September 2025. The music still moves between soul, folk, Americana and pop, much as it did in 2013. What changed was the size of the room.

The tour has one German date. On 16 October he plays Batschkapp in Frankfurt, a room of roughly 1,500 out in Seckbach, with Vicky Somanti opening. Doors at 19:00, on stage at 20:00.

Tickets are on sale through Reservix, Eventim and Ticketmaster. The Reservix and Eventim tickets include an RMV Kombiticket, which covers your public transport from five hours before the show until the end of service.
