Apache 207 returns to Mannheim for two more arena nights

Apache 207 played SAP Arena three times in February. Apparently that was not enough.

On the 22nd and 23rd September he is back for another two nights, which makes five Mannheim arena shows in the same year. For somebody from Ludwigshafen, on the other side of the Rhine, it is about as close to a home game as an arena tour gets. He grew up in Gartenstadt, a district of the city, and named his 2023 album after it.

Apache and his team started considerably smaller. His own biography has them financing early videos with deposit bottles and taking time off work to be on set. Then came "Roller" in 2019.

Apache 207, "Roller" (2019).

Since then his mix of hip-hop, R&B, Eurodance and pop has passed two billion streams. Somewhere in between he spent 21 weeks at number one with Udo Lindenberg on "Komet", longer than any single in German chart history. The venues have moved a long way beyond those early shoots. The geography has not.

The February run was a fully staged arena show built around a plane on stage. Expect the same in September.

Both September shows take place at SAP Arena and start at 20:00. Doors have not yet been announced.

TREACLE is planning to be there on 22 September. Photos follow the next morning.
